Hi, I’m CJ.

I’m obsessed with creating and experiencing movement. Through collaboration, personal exploration, and a passion for learning, I have found a true love for new investigations. My goal is never to stop learning, taking up space, and building inclusive environments wherever my feet fall. With a great amount of training, I find the journey far from over; never truly be a master and always evolve. After all, putting down roots is not the only way one can grow into their truest self.

I grew up in a very small town in the Midwest. To say the very least, I had to find opportunities to succeed wherever I could. I found an early love of music, and as long as I can remember I have been dancing. Humble beginnings, a strong support system, and an unmatched ambition were the foundation that sent me on my way into the professional world. I have a strong interest in dance medicine, physical therapy, and working with diverse populations and children. I have found to teach others, you have to learn from them. For me, I learn far more about the joy in the world through our tiny humans than I ever could from a person like myself.
